Read MoreTomasz Wiśniewski has published "Complicite, Theatre and Aesthetics" (Palgrave Macmillan 2016), "Kształt literacki Samuela Becketta" (Universitas 2006), and (co-)edited over twenty academic publications, including "Włodzimierz Staniewski and the Phenomenon of ‘Gardzienice’" (Routledge 2022). He is the Head of the Department of Performing Arts Studies in the Institute of English and American Studies at the University of Gdańsk, Poland. He is the founder of the Beckett Research Group in Gdańsk and Between.Pomiędzy Festival. He is a member of the Progamme Boad of the Gdańsk Shakespeare Theatre. At present his research concentrates on Song of the Goat Theatre and Irish drama and theatre.
