Read MoreLisa Monde is a writer, playwright, director, actress, and singer. Holds a PhD in Musical Theatre. Lisa is the author of nine original plays and eight musicals (music, book, and lyrics), most of which have been produced and staged in the US and other countries. Lisa has been working as a theatre critic for the past fifteen years, writing news blocks, reviews, essays, and interviews for various specialized magazines (in four European languages). The works based on Lisa's research are published in multiple scientific journals. Lisa teaches acting and musical theatre performance to future theatre and film actors and specializes in TV Hosting. She created an original masterclass on musical theatre history. Multi-award winner of different theatrical contests and playwriting competitions. Her published books: “I Know All Save Myself Alone. The Play,” “Saint Francis: Religion of Love,” “Dracula: Finding of a Shadow,” and “Teach Me How to Die. A Novella and Other Stories” have acquired multiple literary awards. Lisa's plays “Dracula: Finding of a Shadow,” “Dali’s Dream,” and “L.O.V.E. Extraterrestrial Extravaganza,” the musical, won Broadway World Awards (2023, 2024, 2025/ Central New York, Off-Broadway). In 2025, a series of Lisa’s publications with The Theatre Times— “Anniversaries of Legendary Musicals Around the World”—received a Gold Medal and won the LIT Advertising Awards. A year later, recognition continued when Lisa became the Silver Winner of the NY Digital Awards 2026 for her series of articles, “Legendary Musicals Around the World: Creation and Evolution,” in the category of Individual Achievement/Website & Mobile Sites/Art, Performing Arts.
