Polish seminal Romantic verse drama Balladyna by Juliusz Słowacki is a starting point for creating an innovative story about how technology intertwines with loneliness, fear, obsession, love, and murder in the times of global isolation.

Balladyna was created through a collaborative effort of Oskar Sadowski, Baasch, Adrien Cognac, Wojciech Kaniewski, Sebulec, Pavlo Mazur, Katarzyna Anosowicz, Agnieszka Sznajder, Kuba Sosulski, Alicja Szumańska, and the cast Marta Zięba, Katarzyna Figura, Maja Pankiewicz, Sandra Korzeniak, Marcin Kowalczyk, Maciej Grubich, Jan Dravnel, Sonia Roszczuk, Paweł Smagała, Karolina Staniec, Rozalia Mierzicka, Gaia Dravnel, Jacek Poniedziałek, Bartosz Gelner, Julian Swieżewski, Dominika Biernat, Dominik Sadoch, Ola Rudnicka, Bartosz Ostrowski, Karol Kubasiewicz, Krystian Pesta, Michal Zielinski, Julian  Świezewski, Magda Celmer, Alwin Polana, Taras Gembik, Maksym Voronkin, Oliver Olinski, Bartosz Kozłowski, Tomasz Śliwiński, Bartłomiej Gąsior.
