Read MoreNiloofar Mohtadi is a journalist and translator. She has MA in Dramatic Literature from the Faculty of Art and Architecture at the Islamic Azad University Central Branch in Tehran. She has written articles and reviews in the arts sections of various newspapers, and websites for ten years, and currently works as a freelance translator for UNICEF. She has published an academic essay in Tehran University Honar Haye Ziba (Fine Arts) Journal on Shakespeare and held a solo photography exhibition. She has collaborated with a disability theater company, Papion Theatre Group and was the public relations for the 400th anniversary of Shakespeare’s death in Tehran hosted by the Tamashagan Institute of Performing Arts. Her Research interests include Shakespeare, absurd theater, and representation of gender, disability, and ethnicity in the theater.
