Read MoreIna Doublekova holds Bachelor’s degrees in Cultural Studies and Sociology from Sofia University, a Master’s study in Arts and Contemporary Culture (20th–21st c.) and is now pursuing a Ph.D. in Theatre Studies at the Art Studies Institute of the Bulgarian Academy of Science. Since 2011 she is a cofounder and director of the A25 Cultural Foundation– an NGO, working in the field of contemporary culture, arts and society. A25 is member of Culture Action Europe. Simultaneously, as a freelance journalist and critique, she contributes to various national and international media and platforms, dedicated to culture, society and performing arts. She is among the authors of Conflict Zones Review, the online magazine of the Union of European Theaters. She is also a Humanity in Action Senior Fellow. Since 2022 she is also part of the team of Ivan Vazov National Theatre in Sofia, Bulgaria. She first joined the institution as an International Relations Expert and since May 2024 is the Head of Drama and Theory Department.
