Meg Hands is an emerging playwright and fiction writer currently residing on the west coast of Canada. She graduated from the University of Victoria with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Writing, in which she specialized in playwriting. She has served on the editorial board for The Malahat Review for several years, and wrote an episode of the The Canadian Play Thing’s podcast A Way Out. Her work explores themes of queerness, identity, isolation, and surrealism. She is also interested in various canons of mythology, and explores retellings in her work.
