Mary Barnard is Assistant Professor of Spanish at Fort Valley State University in Fort Valley, Georgia. She is currently revising a monograph on how contemporary Peruvian theatre portrays economic development concerns. Her publications, academic and creative alike, have appeared (or will soon appear) in the Bulletin of Hispanic Studies, the Portal del Cine y el Audiovisual Latinoamericano y Caribeño, Hispanic Culture Review, and telondefondo.
