Yiran Shu is a cross-registered student at Emerson College while pursuing her Master of Architecture in Boston. Before coming to Boston, she was educated and worked in a variety of regions in China and had one-year exchange experience at Newcastle University in Architectural History. She is the founder of WeChat platform ArchiTheatre. Her writings have appeared in architectural online publication Sankaijian. She is currently working on the scenic design for the 2018 fall play of Wuming Theatre Club at MIT. Bringing architectural perspectives to stage design is her main interest and vision for theatre design. She is also an offer-holder of MA Scenography at The Central School of Speech and Drama in London.
